Ford XT Fairmont, 1968 Stratosphere Grey
For Sale; here is one very original XT Fairmont, built in 1968 and in excellent condition for it's age of 45 years. The car has it's original numbers matching 221 six cylinder log motor and recently reconditioned three speed automatic transmission.The paint is it's factory color with an old respray that we estimate is at least 15 years old and hasn't changed much in the 12 years that we have taken care of this car. The paint is not show quality, although it looks fantastic on the road as you can see in the photos.
All of the panels are original, very straight and as seen in the photos the car is square with well fitting panels.
Underneath the car is very sound, the last thorough inspection we gave it was nine months ago on a hoist.
The wheels are 15" Cragar's although not original the car does come with it's factory original hub caps all boxed up.
