Does anyone know if there would be anything bad about rotating the booster 180 deg so its upside down and vacuum connection would be bottom left corner??

The rod that goes to your brake pedal comes out and has a tunned down angle on it ro you cant rotate it. But you the front half of the booster comes of to change the diaphram. So you should be able to just seperate it and install front half upside down.
Might be worth while taking it to a brake joint and asking them to do it and they can also see if it needs a reco at the same time.
