Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone can help me with how to change or guide me to a website where i can read up about how to change my diff gears in my vn como borgwarner. i currently have the stock 3.08 and want to upgrade to 3.45.
being that they are a differant setup to a banjo or 9", just mainly lot sure about the shims and how to tightem up the lsd as its single spinning sometimes as well.

any help would be great.
cheers
steve

Thanks guys. iwill give both guys a ring and get a quote. i was going to tackel the job on my own as i hate paying for anything i think i can do my self, but if the price is cheap enough it could save a lot of head aches.

it is a easy job if you know how to set up the correct back lash.

Hey mate.
can you tell me whats involved with setting up the backlash? I like to do all my own work on my cars, and have built a banjo before, but just havnt tackeled a borgwarner yet.
is there certain spacing or how is the backlash measured?

not being smart but if you done a banjo before and dont know how to measure backlash then those bananas skins must really work :)

Either way mate the borgwarner are cheap as to get swapped over , since they come from the skyline and stuff leave it as is, when you ready stick 4.11 and enjoy it with overdrive simple as few 100 bucks !

chers guys. yer sounds easier to just get someone to do it. the smell of diff oil is prob enough to put me off doing it!
*lostit* i had my old man set the backlash but he's getting a bit over crawling under my cars these days.
